Cantors at Saint Agnes Parish are vocalists who lead the congregation in sung prayer during Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Working closely with the accompanists and clergy, the cantor proclaims the Responsorial Psalm, guides the assembly in hymns and responses, and helps create a prayerful and welcoming atmosphere through music. As a visible and active minister of the liturgy, the cantor supports the community’s full and active participation in worship.
